1. Acceptance of Terms

These terms apply to the interTabs browser extension and website ("the Service"), provided by interfinity Limited ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

interTabs organizes your browser tabs. It can:

• Add new tabs to the tab group they belong to, or start a new group (auto-grouping)
• Sort your ungrouped tabs into named groups in one click (AI Organize)
• Name groups and update their names as they change
• Save groups and reopen them later
• Find pages open more than once and close the extra copies

Auto-grouping, AI Organize, and group names use AI services and need an account. Saving and reopening groups and closing duplicate tabs work without one.

3. AI Results

Grouping and naming decisions are made by AI and can be wrong: a tab may go to the wrong group, stay ungrouped, or get a name you don't like. You can always move tabs, rename groups, or turn auto-grouping off. interTabs moves and groups tabs on its own, but only closes tabs when you ask it to, such as when you save a group or close duplicate tabs. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on its results.

4. Accounts

You sign in with Google, GitHub, Apple, or an email link. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. Tell us at hi@intertabs.com if you think someone else has used your account.

5. Plans and Limits

The current plans and their limits are listed on our pricing page.

• Free: auto-grouping up to a daily limit and a set number of AI Organize uses each week. When you reach a limit, the feature pauses until it resets; the rest of interTabs keeps working.
• Premium: removes the daily and weekly limits. To keep the Service available for everyone, all plans are subject to short-term rate limits that normal use does not reach.

We may change the features or limits of the free plan. If we reduce what a paid plan includes, the change applies from your next billing period, and you can cancel before it does.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

• Premium is billed monthly or yearly, in advance, through Stripe, at the price shown when you subscribe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your account page. Premium stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• We may change prices. A new price applies from your next renewal after we tell you about it, and you can cancel before then.
• Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If something went wrong, email us at hi@intertabs.com and we'll review refund requests case by case.

6.1 Activation Codes

An activation code gives your account lifetime Premium. Each code can be used once and can't be exchanged for money. If you redeem a code while subscribed, your subscription is canceled at the end of the period already paid for and you won't be charged again.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law
• Access our server other than through the extension and website, or use it to send requests that don't come from your own browsing
• Try to get around plan limits, for example by sharing an account or creating multiple accounts
• Gain or try to gain unauthorized access to the Service or the systems connected to it
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by sending malicious code
• Copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content, features, and design are owned by interfinity Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. Group names and other results interTabs creates for you are yours to use.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Cloudflare (hosting), Supabase (accounts and sign-in), Stripe (payments), and TypeSafe, Cerebras, and OpenAI (AI). Our Privacy Policy explains what each receives. We aren't responsible for outages or changes in their services, though we work to keep interTabs running when they happen.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI results will be accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, interfinity Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• How the Service groups, names, or saves your tabs
• Unauthorized access to our servers or the information stored on them
• Any interruption of the Service

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time, and email us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. If we end a paid subscription for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we'll refund the unused part of the current period.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on this page and update the date above. For material changes, we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the extension before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
